Lachine Rapids Tours
The St. Lawrence river which surrounds the island of Montreal has some spectacular rapids towards the southwestern tip near the city of Lachine. Visitors board the jet boat in the Old Port and are then whisked away to be drenched in the wild waters of the rapids not too far down the river. Ponchos are provided, and speed boat stunt rides are also available.
La Ronde
La Ronde is an amusement park found on Île Sainte-Hélène. Constructed for the Expo 67 World Fair and affiliated with Six Flags, La Ronde is most famous for featuring the world's highest wooden roller coaster known as the Monster, which runs two simultaneous tracks. There are also many other rides in the park, along with games, music and shows. Several times a year, La Ronde is open all night long with rides running until the break of dawn.

Found in the east end on Hochelaga street , Action 500 is one of the few locations in the city to offer 24 hour go-karting. Since the go-kart tracks are indoors, racing is fast and furious no matter what the season. Action 500 also offers indoor paintball at another location.
Montreal Canadiens
Montreal is home to one of the most successful franchise in North American sporting history – the Montreal Canadiens National Hockey League club. With 24 championships, the Canadiens are the hottest ticket in town, and the Bell Center , where they play, is the place to be on game night. Tickets are not easy to come by, but a certain amount are held in reserve just before game time during the season for individual sale. The Bell Center is also host to many concerts and shows from international performers and major tours.
Hippodrome de Montreal
The Montreal Hippodrome is a horse racing track which dates back to 1872. The Hippodrome, found in the west of the city, is run by the province of Quebec , and in addition to legal wagering on horse races, there are also 200 slot machines, a restaurant, and a lounge. The Hippodrome is also a popular venue for concerts and other events.
